Kundenperspektive

"We needed a multilingual site that felt credible in Polish, English, and German, matched our on-site work, and performed well on mobile."

— Oligotech leadership

Brand and commercial context

Oligotech operates as a producer and installer of stainless steel and glass balustrades, system and structural variants, glass-only solutions, aluminium options, wall-mounted handrails, steel staircases, aluminium fencing, and entrance canopies, serving both residential clients and larger institutional commissions from its base in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Poland. The public site at oligotech.pl needed to mirror that breadth without collapsing into a generic catalogue, because purchasing decisions in this category hinge on proof of craft, visual confidence, and the sense that the same team that quotes the job will stand behind fabrication and installation. The engagement was therefore not only a visual refresh but a full digital product decision: how to structure the story of the workshop, the product families, and the finished environments so that a visitor moving from mobile search to a phone call or email felt they had already seen the quality bar Oligotech holds itself to.

Multilingual scope and editorial model

The commercial reality for Oligotech includes domestic demand where Polish remains the primary language of specification and contract dialogue, alongside partners and buyers who expect professional English and German presentations when comparing suppliers or shortlisting installers for multi-location projects. We designed the site system around a single CMS setup with disciplined language routing and content parity across Polish, English, and German, so marketing and operations could update offers and case material once per language without fragmenting the brand voice. Editorial workflows stay inside the CMS, which reduces friction when new realisations are added or when seasonal campaigns need to align across locales, and the theme layer enforces consistent typography, spacing, and component behaviour so that each locale feels like the same company rather than three loosely related microsites.

Custom CMS theming and front-end craft

Rather than adapting an off-the-shelf template that would fight Oligotech’s photography and long product descriptions, we built a custom CMS theme layer with a clear template hierarchy, structured data hooks, and reusable partials, while CSS carries the visual system and JavaScript handles progressive enhancement for navigation, media behaviour, and interactive elements that must remain accessible and fast on mid-range devices. The front end was implemented with deliberate separation between presentation and content so that editors can adjust copy and imagery without breaking layout contracts, and developers can extend the system when new product lines or landing pages are required. This combination of server-rendered markup, coherent styling, and JavaScript only where interaction genuinely adds value keeps the platform flexible without letting generic modules or plug-in style shortcuts bloat the experience.

Spatial presentation of projects and portfolio logic

A manufacturer’s credibility is demonstrated as much by completed stairwells, terraces, and façades as by words on an About page, so a central part of the build was spatial functionality that lets visitors explore realisations in a way that feels dimensional rather than a flat grid of thumbnails. We implemented showcase patterns that give each project enough visual runway to communicate scale, material finish, and context, while keeping paths back to product categories and contact obvious so curiosity converts into inquiry. The spatial treatment supports photography-heavy storytelling without sacrificing performance budgets, because assets are loaded and sized with the rest of the performance programme in mind rather than treated as an afterthought bolted onto a generic gallery plugin.

Search, AI readiness, and technical clarity

Beyond on-page copy, we invested in code-level and structural improvements that strengthen how search engines interpret the site and how AI systems can summarise and cite Oligotech’s services accurately when users ask assistants for balustrade suppliers or installation partners in Poland and neighbouring markets. That work spans cleaner semantic HTML, consistent heading hierarchy, metadata discipline, internal linking logic between product families and evidence of work, and refinements that reduce duplicate or thin signals across the trilingual surface. The goal is not keyword stuffing but a site that states what Oligotech does, where it operates, and what proof exists, in machine-legible form, so traditional SEO and AI-mediated discovery reinforce the same narrative a human buyer would get from a careful read of the homepage and realisations.

Hosting, backups, caching, and delivery speed

We moved the property onto a custom server deployment shaped around operational reliability as well as raw speed, with backup routines configured so that content and database state can be recovered predictably if an update or editorial mistake ever compromises the live site. On top of that foundation we implemented custom caching so that frequently accessed templates and assets are served with minimal repeated work from PHP and the database, which materially improves time-to-first-byte and perceived smoothness for users browsing galleries and long-form service pages on cellular connections. Together, the hosting choices and caching layer mean the marketing team can publish with confidence while visitors experience a site that responds quickly enough to feel commensurate with a premium metal-and-glass fabrication brand.
